#1. Bhangarh Fort, Rajasthan

The place is also known as “Town of Ghosts” from the last 500 years. Bhangarh Fort is also ranked as one of the most haunted places in the world. It is said that once there was a Tantrik who used to do black magic, fall in love with the princess of Bhangarh, in the early 1600s. He tried to give a magical potion to her, with whom she will get possessed with him and marry him. But the princess got to know about it and threw that potion, then the Tantrik, curse the whole village and in no time, Bhangarh got destroyed with an attack of the rivals. It is said that, approx. 10,000 peoples were there when the rivals attacked the fort. Everyone got killed. Even, the Indian government has marked the board, and going in the Bhangarh fort is strictly prohibited in Dark. The one who goes in, in the dark, never comes back.

#2. Dumas Beach, Surat, Gujarat

Just 25 km away from the biggest foodies’ hub, Surat, Dumas beach is ranked 2nd in the most haunted places In India. It is said and it’s true that Hindus use that place as a burial land, many years ago. Many paranormal activities occur over there, after 11 pm. or at midnight. Many peoples saw moving Orbs (looks alike meteors), considered as the spirits. Many other happenings such as whispering of someone into your ears, wind, and atmosphere become eerie suddenly and crying of a lady or a baby and many more.

#3. Vrindavan Society, Thane

This Society is in the center of the city. One of the best areas in the city and society is built in the best way, that everyone wants, luxurious in the simplest way. But still, Why is the society haunted. It is said that the man lived in building no. 66 B committed suicide and from that day, many activities have been witnessed by the security guards at night, while patrolling. One guard said that, once, he got slapped so hard that he flew and fall on the other guard, from his chair. They tried to find someone, there was no one around. Very creepy right?

Society lies in the Poshest area of the city, which never sleeps, i.e. Mumbai. The rate going on is around INR 40,000 per sq. ft. But, it is one of the most haunted places of Mumbai and also of India. Around 20 suicides and accidents in a decade is not at all a small thing. Elder couple, maids, falling of children, and one whole family suicides, I mean the whole three generations. And this all starts, loads of paranormal activities, now and then, you can say every day. This society now gains psychiatric help (pooja and havan, at the flat of the family who suicides from the eighth floor, the whole three-generation) while a few have moved out of the premises.

#5. Tunnel No. 33, Shimla

Known as the Borag tunnel, It is said that the British railway engineer suicides because of his miscalculation of digging this tunnel. He divided his staff and gave them directions to start digging the tunnel from both sides, and the tunnel will meet in between. But, his calculation went wrong and the British government fined him. He got depressed and shot himself while he went for a walk with his dog. His body was buried near the tunnel, and many say that he is still there, in the tunnel. Thus, the tunnel known as the Borag and many people saw him in the dark black tunnel, yes in the dark, with a sudden eerie atmospheric change.

It is a really very cool and attractive place in the day, the place also grabs the attention of many after coming the shot of recent Bollywood hit”PK”, but as the day passes, the dark night comes, it becomes maybe the creepiest place in Delhi. Cry of bats and pigeons, the noise of moving stones, and many creepy things happen here. It was a reservoir as it was built, but it is said that the Baoli was got full of black water. Blackwater attracts many disheartened, discouraged people, and it is said that, once any sad man sees that water, it got hypnotized and jumps in the water. There are a lot of stories of these mines, such as, getting trap of workers when landslides, a general who got murdered by his wife and her lover, and the famous one is of the screaming witch, and the spirits of all stays or got trapped into the mines. And, people who live nearby in the village claim to see the screaming witch and witnessed many other paranormal activities. The mines are very scary and villagers advices not to go even near it.
